SOURCE: 1985 corvette horns...
Have you tried replacing the horns themselves? Have you checked all the fuses relating to the horns? Relay? Maybe its the horn button itself? Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Rear Hatch Won't Release
The hatch is probably "jammed".
Has the hatch opened by itself while you are driving? That is a symptom....
Using a second person/helper, press the "open" button while you pull hard to pop it open.
If it opens, then the lock mechanism needs adjusting and tightening. There are two bolts that hold the catch hook. Once you adjust the catch, be sure to "open" the latch before you close the hatch. (rhyme not on purpose)...
Hope this helps!

The lock is most likely the problem, the latch itself has a lever on it to neutalise the latch. When it is locked,it actually disengages the latch.Move that latch,to engage the latch operation.Once you have moved that lever,it will actually be unlocked, and the latch should be enable.I hope this was somewhat helpful to you,if it was please let us know, thank you.

Release and raise the rear hatch using either the unlock button on the inside of the driver's door or a keyless remote, locate the hatch release on the inside of the hatch, then depress the hatch pins using a flat-head screwdriver, and remove the hatch panel holding clips with the trim panel remover.
Remove the rear hatch release panel with your hands, detach the release cable C-clip with the flathead screwdriver, then carefully pull the hatch wiring out with your hands.
Remove the rear hatch release with the ratchet and socket.
