Yes new gas shocks on the lift gate will fix your problem. I had the same problem on my 2005 Pacifica and when it hit my head- I came up with the solution.

Good Luck,

Hope this helps...I know it's extremely difficult to find manuals for these cars. These instructions are straight out of the factory service manual.

2006 Chrysler Pacifica - can cooling fan blades be tightened to stop wobble?

I would say that the bearing has failed and the unit should be replaced . If you have a viscous fan hub the problem may be there or if you have the fan directly on the water pump I would be checking the pump bearing for failure

The cooling fan on my 2006 chrysler pacifica wont blow?

Look under the hood above the battery. In the box are your fuses and relays look for a bad fuse or a bad blower motor relay. If you read the cover you will see there are spare relays in the box just swap them

On our 2006 Pacifica, the cooling fans will start

The fans are controlled by a temperature sensor that activates a relay. Could be either. Since it is winter, you could try narrowing it down by unplugging the sensor. Then if it still comes on, it has to be the relay. It is does not come on, it has to be the sensor that is shorting.

Replace headlamp bulb on 2006 Chrysler Pacifica

i had the same problem. in my 06 pacifica what we did was unscrewed the top screw on top of the asembly, took a flat head screwdriver and popped the whole assembly out. it made this loud click sound and i thought it was broken but i had to pull the bulb out by jiggling up and down puttin ti back in was easy. make sure not to touch the tip of the bulb because it wont be any good and the replacments cost well over 20 bucks (i paid $23 for mine). the bulb just goes right back in and you screw the assembly right back on.
