Question about 1995 Cadillac DeVille
Hello: You have a temp actuator that is not working. Remove the glove box and the panel under the dash on the passenger side. You will see the heater/A/C Module (Box) On the top and bottom you will see two silver linkages, they come from the actuators that are mounted on top and bottom of the heat/A/C programmer. If you will turn key on, engine off, make sure the control head is in the on position. move the temperature from 60 to 90 and watch the actuator arms, the one that doesn't move is the failed one. The actuators are held in place with two 7mm screws and one electrical connector. The silver linkage snaps on the air mix door linkage and slides on the actuator end. The actuator has to be set to engage it with the programmer drive, to do this turn key on and hold actuator over the drive end of the programmer, when lined up it will slip on.
