RIGHT HEADLITE BURN'T OUT

simple fix the headlight is halogen. simply open hood , find the back of the right headlight. there is a ring with a clip holding it from turning. hold the clip and turn the ring. pull the head light bulb out and unplug it. replace in reverse order, note here. DO NOT touch the glass part of the new bulb with your fingers. use clean gloves or tissue paper to handle it. or the new bulb will fail in a short time. When replacing the retaining ring to hold the bulb in make sure you align the notches so it will press in then turn till it locks.

One headlite goes out in less than a min. then stays out. The same side fog lite was knocked out recently and has not been replaced. How can I make the headlite stay on?

sounds like the fog light is shorting out the system, and if its on the same side as the headlight, the filament in the bulb could h ave received damage also check the connections on each light, and also check the bulbs with a meter

You have to remove the dust covers by twisting them counter-clock wise. Then there is a ring that holds the bulbs to the housing that comes off by twisting it counter-clockwise.

Headlites went out, is this a bulb issue...

It sounds to me that if you checked all the fuses and they are fine that it could be the headlight switch needs to be replaced or very uncommon but possible that both low beam bulbs blew at the same time and need replacement.

I need to replace r.f. headlight

only the bulb need replacing and is done from back side of headlight. twist the ring on back of light about quarter turn and pullback the wire and bulb. never touch the glass on new bulb. grease from finger can cause to burn out quick or burst after a few min of operation ,use latex gloves, clean.

How to replace the headlite lamps

On the backside of the Headlight you will find the wires going through what appears to be a collar. Turn the collar counter clockwise to unlock it and pull it out, remove the bulb and insert the new one, try not to touch the new bulb on the glass.

try removing the whole light fixture and reinstalling it...that should do the trick
just try to have it in the position it was in before removing so that you wouldn't have to adjust your light angel or at least make some minor adjustments

CHANGE HEAD LIGHT

you change the bulb from inside the engine compartment . raise the hood and feel for a plastic retaining ring in the back of the headlite. Loosen 1/4 turn and bulb socket and old bulb will pull out from the headlite assembly Unplug the old bulb and replace with new one . assemble in reverse order.
