It is in a big black rectangle shape box on the side of the engine compartment. There will be a black plastic tube shape going to it from the intake of your engine, There will be some snap type hold downs on it, pop those off, remove the top and take filter out. Take care.

Can you help me to find the engine airfiltet of the nissan caravan coach 2002

The air filter is usually housed in a black plastic box at the side or front of the engine. There will be either small metal or plastic clips that keep the 2 halves of the unit together. The air filter is inside.

Sometimes - depending on the type of vehicle - the air filter housing may be 'out of sight' .. underneath the engine at the side, or behind a wheel arch liner (which must be removed to access the filter/housing).

You talking engine air filter or cabin filter? Engine air filter is located in air box in engine compartment.. unclamp , open box , remove old filter, wipe out box, replace new filter , reclamp box.
Cabin filter located under cowl just below windshield. remove cowl bolts / plastic rivets. pull off cowl .. filter is in center and slides out like a drawer.. slide in new filter and replace cowl.

Theres a exhaust piece one the top left hand side of the motor thats rusted and leaks air what is it

It should be likely the air intake that has a paper air filter that allows enough air into your engine because the engine needs air so it can perform. I ask you to get rid of the paper air filters because they choke the living hell out of your engine so I suggest that you buy a K&N air filter that you do not have to clean for about 50,000 miles and this air filter gives your car greater performance by letting more air into your engine. You will see that you do not need to push on the gas pedal now when you changed that air filter to an K&N filter high performance.

Regarding 2002 honda accord air filter, is that the cabin air filter? any other engine filter existed or not? Thanks! Victor

The air filter will filter the air going into the engine and is located in the engine compartment. The cabin filter filters the are entering the passenger compartment and is located behind the glove box. The other filter would be the fuel filter, It is typically located or mounted on the firewall in the engine compartment.

If you would like more details on any of these don't hesitate to ask!

Its time to replace my air filter.

Inspect/Replace As a filter gets dirty, the amount of air that can flow through it is reduced. This is not a problem until less air than the engine needs gets through the filter. Without the proper amount of air, the engine will not be able to produce the power it should, nor will it be as fuel efficient as it should be.
Included in the preventative maintenance plan for all vehicles is the periodic replacement of the air filter. This mileage or time interval is based on normal vehicle operation. If the vehicle is used or has been used in heavy dust, the life of the filter is shorter.
Always use a replacement filter that is the same size and shape as the original.
The shape and size of the air filter element depends on its housing; the filter must be the correct size for the housing or dirt will be drawn into the engine. On today's engines, air filters are either flat or round.

When replacing the filter element, carefully remove all dirt from inside of the housing. Large pieces of dirt and stones may accumulate there. It would be disastrous if that dirt got into the cylinders. Also make sure the air cleaner housing is properly aligned and closed around the filter to ensure good airflow of clean air.

Difference between an Air Filter and Air Conditioning filter

The air conditioning filter that your manual speaks of is known as a ''cabin filter'', it is much differant then your engine air filter. It filters the incoming air into your vehicles interior. So if someone has told you to replace your ''air filter'' they are more then likely speaking of your ''engine'' air fitler. You should check your engine air filter every oil change. If it shows signs of dirt, then replace it. Hope this helps =)

The engine air filter is located in the box behind the battery. This box should have 4 metal clips that pop off and you and pick up the top of the box and underneath is the filter.
