Question about 2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
Trailblazers are notorious for bad ignition switches. Could be something with the transmission interlock. If it doesn't sense that your vehicle is in park or neutral then it won't let the engine start up Try moving the transmission lever. If that does not work then try to wiggle the steering wheel at the same time you turn the key. Replace the ignition tumbler if you still can't turn the key

Hi and welcome to FixYa!
As a first course of action I strongly suggest that you spray WD40 lubricant on the ignition key hole for the mechanism is surely stuck. This problem really occurs even on other car brands.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa!
