Does the blower work on full speed only? if so then it is the resistor, which is located in the heater box.

2002 grand caravan blower motor intermittent replaced resistor

in review
the fan speed resistor is new
you bench tested the blower motor
12 volts test ..only runs it at full speed
if cabin filer want changed the blower motor would run hotter

could be the motor brushes or bush/motor bearing when slowed
you might want to inspect the brushes and clean the dust out of the motor
if no better
does that have climate control ?
might be the fan switch itself or the earth isnt so good

Blower Motor on 2000 Saturn SL

The blower motor is connected to a termic switch, when the motor is fine and fuse is ok, is the switch that must be replaced.

Ensure the fuse is ok first.

My blower,s not working on my 1998 mercedes sprinter red lights still on

Hit the blower motor with a hammer handle and see if it comes to life, if it does then the blower motor brushes are sticking and you must replace the motor. As for the fuse, if the fuse was the problem then the blower circuit would be shorted to ground, I'd highly doubt that is the problem. In any case if the fuse was gone then replacing it would just result in it blowing out again until the short is fixed. So hope that the motor is the problem as electrical troubleshooting is labor intensive so very expensive.

Rear fan for ac 2006 kia sedona not working fuses check good. What else???

It's probably the blower fan itself. The brushes in the fan motors are really crappy. I removed mine and simply did a cleanup of the commutator re-installed it and it works perfectly! You can test the motor by hooking 12v power directly to it. My front blower went out and it was a snap to remove, 6 screws under the dash above the passenger side floorboard and the blower was in my hand. This motor had worn out brushes so I had to open the motor assembly and replace them. Those blower motors are $125 in the aftermarket so you can save yourself a bundle of cash if you're handy with tools. P.S. there is a little rubber boot hooked to the side of the motors, it is important to make sure this is installed properly as it has to do with cooling the motor and elongating it's life cycle!

My blower Motor is not working on my 1996 Mercury Mystique. I checked all the fuses, all the fuses work just fine. I then checked the voltage that was getting to the blower motor, and it read 12v. I then...

hello, try this..hook 12 volts directly to the blower motor terminals, it should spin! Check for 12 v at the plug that goes into the blower motor again. if good.. Hook a light tester to 12v supply and then check the ground wire in the plug that goes to the blower motor. if it doesn't light up you have a bad ground connection.

I replace the blower fan in my 1998 Ford Escort SE sedan becuase the old motor was shot. (would not run with direct 12V positve and negative leads connected) I check the new motor usig the above...

on this model you need to inspect the blower resistor and connector,
a poor connection at the resistor and connector causes heat and burns the wiring.
if its burnt replace the resistor and find a good connector at the salvage yard.
it is near the blower motor
