It sounds like your friend swapped some bad parts from their vehicle to yours. Did they swap the parts back? I would check to make sure everything was plugged back in. Is your check engine light on? If so, I would check for any engine codes stored in the computer, if so, they should lead you to your problem.

Can i use a new honda key fob on an old honda odessey

In a word....No. Each model/year/trim line use different key fobs over the years and are not compatible for inter-mingling. The vehicle won't accept it when you try to program it. The receivers use a compatible code system specific to that year/model. They can only read a certain number of codes. Anything out of it's code range list will not be read.

Aircon unit in a 1995 honda odessey seized and then broke the alternator belt. My friend has a 1998 honda odessey available for parts. Can I use the aircon unit and belt in that one for my car?

1995 Honda Odessey is only equipped with a 2.2L L-4 engine. 1998 Honda Odessey is equipped with only a 2.3L VTECH engine. The OEM part numbers for the compressors are different. The OEM part numbers for the drive belts are different, so I would say that the answer to your question is an emphatic NO. - not even close!

No transaxles make 100,000 miles

What your saying, including the rebuild

Have a 2001 dodge stratus 2.7 95,000 miles going through second winter with no heat, flushed system, changed thermostat, checked for blockage, appears that there aren't any, hoses get hot, pressureized the...

I had the same problem with the same car...
I replaced the climate control center, (in the dash selector) and this solved the problem. I discovered this by first swapping mine out with a friends who had the same unit. This is an expensive part at the dealership but I now have heat. Hope this helps, I had a couple of long winters driving to work also!

Hello what's p 1768 hello i have ask my

The code refers to a fault with the torque convertor clutch. Make sure your transmission fluid is at the right level if the error code persists then have specialist check the transmission. The stalling symptoms you describe could also point to another error. Have a look at the PCB of the main relay. Sometimes with Hondas the solder round one of the relay pins cracks in a circle. Often when used a connection appears good but a jolt or increase in temperature can cause a disconnection and engine shut down. If you see a cracked joint just resolder it.

Engine revs up even when parked - Honda Odessey 2002

replace the idle air control valve.(on the bottom of the throttle body) may be easier to remove the throttle body and turn in upside down to remove the idle air control valve and hoses. be sure not to pinch the gasket. after u do that be sure to replace any coolant that may have came out. then, start the car, rev the car to 3000 rpms till the radiator fan comes on , then let the vehicle idle for 20 - 30 mins . the computer should relearn the idle. local honda dealer should have the valve in stock,
