SOURCE: 2001 jeep grand cherokee wont reverse in

This could be an issue with the shift solenoid , but can also be caused by low fluid due to a leak, check your fluid. Is there a check engine light on, if there is it could be a solenoid issue.

SOURCE: immobiliser has locked me out of my jeep grand

If you have a programmable pas key (grey) you can't override. If you have a black key, try locking and unlocking the drivers door with the key...try the rear hatch if that one does not work. There is also a purple or lavender wire that comes out of the drivers door through the rubber boot. if grounded it should let you start it (black key only)
Ifg you can't get into the vehicle at all, then you may need dealer assistance.

fuses blow because of excess current draw (amps too high for the fuse) and that is from a short in the wire or unit that that fuse supply the current to. It has nothing to do with timing. However if the circuit for that fuse goes to a cam/crank position sensor or immobiliser then may be the problem unit/s

if that knob has 2 wires going to it u can join the 2 wires together or touch them together to deactivate immobiliser , the knob is a switch that either connects the 2 wires or disconnects them when pushed ,if there are more than 2 wires i would need to know the colours and how many there are
