Mazda mx5 2005...alarm coming on when i open door..car starts but hazard lights flash for 5 minutes..drives fine then starts again if i open door...help

The car is in theft mode and if you cant reset it with the remote key, you will need a shop to reset it for you. to try the reset with the remote, just use the lock button by pressing it twice, wait 3 minutes and use the unlock button by pressing twice, this should reset the alarm

94 dodge intrepid alarm problem remote will not dis arm new batteries lights flash horn beeps cannot start car any way to disable

Hi, if the alarm is armed the car not going to start,it might start and shut right back off. Have you shut all doors and hood down , take your key and lock and unlock car this should disarm alarm system. If dont work on driver side try passanger side. You might have remote reprogram. and if none of this work for you if you can stand the noise put key in switch and turn to run and leave it on for 30 mins. If i can help you futher just re post.
Thanks dodge tec

No dash lights or odometer reading when you open the door and car cranks but will not start. Alarm is in vallet position. Few weeks ago paaenger window would not work then started working then driver side...

I would start by removing the pesky alarm. My encounter with alarms is they create more problems than they actually help a badly wired alarms systeme can be a true nightmare. My advice the best lock for your vehicle is the lock that locks the gas and brake pedal together best invention yet good luck

I need help to reset the car alarm. There is no keyless remote. It's a clifford alrm. It started fine then when i turn the car off the alarm light was blinking and now i can't start the car

Look under the dash for a little button that youll push to bypass the alarm. If not one you will need to disconnect the alarm sysem and remove it. It is useless to you anyway without the key pad

The car won't start assuming the immobiliser is the problem

If the battery is good and charged up. try disconnecting the battery this will reset everything including the alarm system. Then you should be good to go.

Car doesn't start

This may or may not help. Hopefully it will. We recently purchased this 1998 chrysler town & country. Everything was working fine, started fine, etc. we took it to get emissions done.....passed emissions.. .made it home. i turned the car off to run inside for a minute. came back out car started.. ran for 3 seconds than died out. tried again... ran for 3 seconds than died out... after that it no longer would do anything. all the lights worked except in the ignition module. the top dashboard lights worked though. I then noticed that the "alarm set" light stayed lit. after replacing fuses and running an OBD test and found no trouble codes or issues with fuses it dawned on me it may be the alarm. after searching the internet for hours i found a forum that suggested unplugging the battery for about 5 minutes....rehook it and then try starting it again. well i tried doing that the first time using the REMOTE to unlock the doors and nothing happened. i locked the doors and repeated the same battery unhook-rehook process except without using the remote... (i noticed a lot of forums saying that the remotes can be deffective in that they somehow trigger the alarm if the transmitter is not working properly)... so after unhooking and rehooking the battery and using only the key to unlock it started right up! so i've decided to not use the remote at all and have had no other problems. let me know if this helps
