Question about 1996 Dodge Caravan
Chek the fuses in power distribution box under the hood or it may be a ground wire came loose (lights are on a different circuit ) on the engine

Ours kept blowing the 20 Amp "Engine" Fuse under the hood. Still havent figured out why (and it will get more frequent), but it should get you off the interstate. Always does that on turns, too. Weird indeed. Going to try and replace battery and clean it up since that seems to be the solution for clicking starter w/o turning over. Then I can check codes and see if I can find out why this happens. I assume you've trashed the car by now? If not then HOW DID YOU FIX THAT PERMANENTLY? :-)
