2001 buick lasabre, no power to one of the ignition coil packs


You have 3 individaul coils each one sits on the ICM(ignition control module). Now if there is no power to one of the ignition coil pack youll have to replace the ignition module, It will be in your interest to replace that coil that has no power to it.

Where is the fan(blower control module) located on a 1993 Buick LaSabre the fan motor runs on high all the time even with the key off. this car has the automatic A/C-heater system


The blower control module is located under the hood along the firewall.It is about a foot from the blower motor.(more towards the passenger side) It is harder to see as the relay center is directly above it.

How to replace an ignition module. 1995 buick lasabre


loosen 7mm bolt retaining wiring harness connector to ign. module remove the three nuts on underside of ignition module to the bracket i think they are 12 to 13 mm let it in the bracket for now,next remove the bolts holding the coil packs to the ignition module leaving the plug wires attached so as not to get messed up..remove the coilpack from the module and your ready to reinstall in reverse order Good Luck.....

If each car has an identical 8th digit in VIN, then the motors are exactly the same.

Buick 3800 motor, Checking for the camshaft magnet


YOUR MAGNET IS ON THE CAMSHAFT.MAKE SURE YOUR CAMSHAFT SENSOR IS RECEIVING 12 VOLTS AT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR.IF YES CAMSHAFT SENSOR IS BAD.IF NO POWER GOING TO CAMSHAFT SENSOR ELECTRICAL CONNECTION.YOU HAVE PCM OR WIRING PROBLEMS.

The EGR valve may have a protective cover on it:

After removing the cover, the egr valve is beneath, you will need to remove retaining clips to remove the egr valve.

Technically it is called a "SPAR" Control Module" some folks call it ECM even an "Ignition Control Module" when asking for the new part a new guy will have troble finding by the more common names.... of course nothing beats experience(wink)
