Without having sensors in the winter tires you will be unable to clear this. The reason the light is still on is because the bcm can't find your sensors.

Reset tire pressure sensor

My work van is a e-series 2011 cargo / work van, the way to reset the tire pressure on it is too push the hazard lights button a few times, may 5 or 6 times pretty quickly when the van is in park and running, the horn will honk and and then you stop pushing the hazard button and wait for a few minutes and the horn will honk agian and the tire pressure light will go out, i dont know if this resets the tires pressure sensor, but the light on the dash goes out, on my van it comes back on after i restart the van , so I am guessing that the sensor on my van is bad. but its worth a shot on your car.

How do you clear "check

1. inflate your tires to the correct pressure (not just visually, but use a gauge)
2. your wheels have TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) sensor attached to the rim on the filler stem, inside the tire. if that sensor has gone bad, your dash will register as having low tire pressure. replace that TPMS (little black box in the wheel. you have to remove the tire to get to it). If you have aftermarket wheels, you need to transfer the TPMS sensor from the stock wheel to the new wheel.

The tire pressure light won't go out. I have put air in all the tires and it comes right back on. None of the tires appear to be low.

Have a mechanic check the sensors in the tires themselves. When my van hit a hard bump, I ended up with the same problem. The mechanic said the sensors can be a bit temperamental.

We just had new tires put on the front of our 2005 freestar and the light keeps coming on even after reseting it numerous times what do we do?

if the pressures are ok, and the reset procedure does not fix it, it is likely that one of the sensors became damaged during the tire change. you should return to the service center that changed the tires and have them check it out.

before that, check that ALL FOUR of your tires are set to 35 psi. the system works on pressure differentials (not just low pressure) so make sure ALL the tires are set equally. also note that some systems may also have a sensor in the spare tire, and can cause the light to come on also. please check the door tag on your van to confirm what the pressures are supposed to be set at. good luck!

Since I put my winter tires on, the low pressure sensor is on. What di I do wrong?

recheck your tire pressure to make sure you have the right pressure in thr tires. take your car to a auto shop and have them use the tool to reset your sensors. I work in the tire bissness and have seen it done. if you took it to a shop and had your tires put on they should heve done it for you. hopes this helps.

Low tire pressure light

problem may lie in the air pressure sensor in the tire. You could go to any place that sells and mounts tires and see if remounting the tire (with) the sensor fixes the problem. This shouldn't cost too much.

Good luck!

Change engine il and tire pressure message how do i rest

Must have codes for check engine light cleared with scan tool. Check all tire pressures and road test up to 35 mph. Tire message should clear if low tire was problem. If light for tires remains then possible radio frequency sensor problem. Sensor replacement may be necessary. Sensors have alkaline non-serviceable batteries. If battery is dead sensor will have to be replaced.

Is tpms sensor needed when replacing tires?

Without the sensors, the lights will continue to warn you your pressure is low. No harm will come from this to your vehicle. It is a safety system to warn you about the tire pressure so you will take immediate action. The manufacturer is ramping up to meet requirements for future safety regulations.

Tire pressure light remains on.

We took it back to the dealer. They made the necessary adjustments needed after the winter tires +rims were put on.
