No heat in my 2002 kia sportage bower works

need more information about :no heat. Do you get anyheat, such as mildy warm from blower? Is there no heat every - not matter how long you drive? if the answer is yes to both suggest you purchase and install a new cooling system component: thermostat. You can pick them up at any auto parts dealer. its a messy job and you will need a bottle of compatible anti-freeze to top up system. Suggestion: if you have never flushed cooling system get that done or do it yourself at the same time (disposal of old fluid to your nearest environmental depot - not any where else.

1990 lincoln town car 5.0 heater won't heat, but the fan and the air conditioner works fine, a new radiator was installed also before i bought it...engine don't seem very hot ..????

If the engine is not getting up to normal temp, I would replace the thermostat. Both heater hoses have to be hot to get heat inside the car.

How can I tell if the thermostat in my 2004 suzuki forenza needs to be replaced?

hi natalie. the thermostat opens and closes to send heat to the interior of the vehicle. that said, if your car was cold over the winter even when you turned the heat on then chances are that the thermostat was stuck. if the heat worked as it should, chances are the thermostat is fine. Replacement is quick, the part is inexpensive so if you do have a problem down the road it will be a small repair.

2000 Silhouette: HEATER WONT GIVE OFF HEAT THEIR IS HEAT BUT WONT S...

Check the water level. If the water is low it will not allow water into the heater core to produce heat. If there is water keep an eye on your temperature gauge It should reach at least 140 to 170 degrees. If it is staying colder than that you have a stuck thermostat which is allowing the water to flow to much and not let the engine warm up. The only other solution is if the fan is not working properly replace the fan relay for you blower.

VW jetta over heating after new thermostat installed

there could be an air gap in you coolant circuit, make sure you have purged the entire cooling system of air that might have been be trapped in the cooling circuit when you changed the T-stat.

2000 GMC Heater Problem

I had problems with a similar truck,a 1998 GMC diesel after checking to make sure the control cables were operating the blend door and blowing the mess of the heater core,I replace the thermostats.Still no heat turns out there was a small amount of debris collecting in the fitting for the inlet hose at the thermostat housing after removing it and blowing out the lines the heat was fine.
