This is usually caused by an intermittent vacuum leak at the intake manifold gaskets. My be the lower or upper manifold gaskets. Get yourself some carb cleaner and start the engine. Get it worm so it's ideling rough. Spray the lower intake manifold gaskets first with the carb cleaner. If the engine revs, you are spraying the leak. Spray all the gaskets on both heads. If the lower gaskets are not leaking, then spray the upper manifold gaskets. If you would like instructions for rplacing the gaskets yourself, please get back to me. If none of the gaskets are leaking, look for other vacuum laeks in any hose that connects to the intake manifolds. Also check the intake hose and anything downstream of the mass airflow sensor on the inlet. If there are no leaks, the problem could be the air flow sensor. Please let me know if you have any questions.

What causes the computer to read bank 1 to lean, bank 2 to lean. It also idles rough and will stall out while stopped. Runs great at operating speeds. It's on a 2004 F150, 4x4, 5.4 vin code 5.

More than likely you have a vaccume leak.Check arround the intake looking for any broken vac.hoses(especally the PCV hose) all the way up to where it connects to the intake.Could be a bad mass airflow sensor, but more likely a vac. leak.

Error codes appeared on 2003 GMC Yukon PO170 too lean bank 1 PO174 tool lean bank 2 PO300 multiple cylinder misfire Still runs OK, idles a bit rough.

Check the intake manifold gaskets for leakage. It will tend to run rougher in the morning when it is cold. Check for vacuum leaks on any hose connected to the intake plenum too.
