Question about 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse
The sensor shoudl be behind the timing cover the bottom gear as teeth sometimes you can get it off without removing the gear on some 3.0 hole driled on lower side of block ,if its a chrysler engine look at bell housing they have a flywheel with holes in them the cranck sensor will be bolted somewhere around the bellhousing of trans aginst the engine
