Question about 2007 Volkswagen Passat Sedan
If you have already tried changing the bulb and still not working than the simplest way is to run a wire from the working bulb to the other side saves time trying to unravel all the harness's first you will need to find wich of the two wires is not doing its job the power wire or the ground wire? test light will help you with that, with engine off put your car in reverse turn the ignition to on that will turn on the working reverse light use a test light to find the problem go to the none working light remove the bulb using the test light touch each connection point to see if any light up the test light if not then you have a bad power supply, but if it does light up then you have a bad ground wire in either case you can jump the working light to fix the light if ground is bad jump the ground and vise versa.......
