Question about 2003 GMC Sierra
You have a short. try removing the charge wire from the alternator. wrap the wire end with electrical tape to prevent shorting. then try hooking up the cables again. If that works, replace the alternator. If that doesn't work, look for another short. Let me know if you have any questions.
