If all other plugs fit, just cut the ends off the black wires and put them together.

Whats the very best spark-plug for a 1995 90Hp Evinrude 2str V4

first things first. Go to supercheap, repco, auto barn and get your self a product called fuel stabiliser ( around $20.00 for about 150mls). I put in a standby generator and it keeps the fuel good for about 6 months. Next the plugs that you want will be a multi point plug (several earth electrodes coming of the earth to the centre electrode or non fouling plugs for the 2 stroke mixture) They will be available from any outboard marine shop. They come in different prices as to quality from around $7.50 to $15.00 for platinium plugs Plugs used in a car engine will not cut it so get the right plugs for outboard 2 strokes.

Outboard motor mercury 30 hp 2 stroke.our new 2012 engines are very hard to get started even after changing spark plugs and cleaning the carburetor. problem started on both engines after 2 month of...

Check Warranty. Check with Dealer for TSB alerts. Could be fuellines or connectors. Not familiar with whether you have any type of fuelpump on these motors.

For sure you are putting more hours on your engines than a non- commercial user. Check for fuel filters.

How do I fix the heater switch on a rover 25 1.4i Y reg

** First check the Fuse 19, 20A, in passenger fuse box (see manual- under steering wheel). then earthing connection E5 (Front LH inner wing.
**electricat connections are most accessable at Motor resistor bank, behind glove box (released by 8mm 2 bolts underneath ) Resistor pack in front of blower motor, 2x 6mm bolts. flick or squeese electrical relaese tab**

** Check the state of the motor speed resistor pack/ prone to resistor/resistor wire failure , which is behind the glove box,

The motor circuit is Green, live feed , to motor, slate black to motor speed selector (resistor pack), Output (slate or Yellow or Green or pink And Black) then Heater selector switch to earth (black).
- The feed from the motor is Slate/ Black wire. It pass through (or bypasses) resistor bank which limits the current through) the motor thus controlling. the speed. This has 4 connection slate grey from motor.

**Check 12v feed on blower Motor connector Green +ve , Slate Black to Earth. if ok, short Slate/black(Sl/Blk) to earth motor should run.

-Slate/B black (S/B) via No restor to switch, pos 4,

-Yellow/ Black (Y/B) via High resistor to Switch Pos 3
--Green/ Black (G/B) via Medium resistor to Switch Pos 2.
--Pink/ Black (K/B) via Xresistor to Switch Pos x.

From heater selector all final connection to earth are via to Black wire to earth on ineer LH inner wing.

2002 Durango blower motor resistor wiring harness is burnt & the insulation is melted on 2 wires. Is there a repair for the harness plug?

This proble is very , very common on these, you will need to replace the resistor and wiring. the dealer sells the kit and resistor, the wiring kit comes with the connector and a bag of wires with connector on the wires, theres about 12 wires you will use the correct gauge wire thats in the truck and the rest keep for spares, you will need to put it together which is not hard to do, they will give you connectors and heat shrink in this kit, i always get it from the dealer, i have used aftermarket resistors and have had problems with brunning again, so i would use dealer parts. i think the whole setup was about 100.00, the wirg is the most costly. when repairing cut wiring back on wire thats good to remove brunt wires, dont try to disconnect the connect to avoid breaking apart, just unbolt resistor and pull out this way you can use old connector as a guide to put new one together, good day,

The passenger headlight on my 98 Mitsubishi Eclipse is very dim. I have replaced the bulbs; however, it is still very dim. I am told that I have a loose ground wire. How do I determine which is the ground...

Behind the headlights there is a plug that has 3 wires to the dip beam and 2 wires to main beam and the black wire is the earth so use a test light and put 1 end of test light to earth the other to either wire and turn on head lights it should light up if not then test the other wire if it lights then the other wire you tested was the one that isent any good .. so what you do is either clean contacts on the back of the globe plug or just put a wire from that wire on plug to any earth on the body or engine bolt and the light will come bright and make sure its fitted good and your job is done,, you now have goodlights.
Have a goodday Ron

You will have to get a factory approved kit . Any modification to the lighting system will interfere with the Bulb faifure warning as the wattages and resistances will be altered outside the normal Jaguar settings. There is designated kits for these types of electrical systems from quality tow bar makers .......
