Looks like an fuse is blown out but not able to find which one, Computer shows no problem. Please let me know if any other than fuse and if fuse problem please let me know which one needs to be changed and how to find out which fuse is blownout by seeing or inspecting fuse. Yes, seems that you might have a few fuses that are blown out. There are two places for the fuses, one is under the bonnet, and one is inside the car, under the steering wheel. Both have a diagram either close to them, or in the dashboard fuses, usually the cover has the diagram on the back. This way you will know which ones to check. If you can't find the diagram you might need a "test light" to see which ones are not working. If a fuse is blown, you will see that the wire inside the plastic in between the pins is broken. Also, on the back side of the fuse you will see the amperage value. A fuse must be replaced with the exact same amperage value fuse.

Hi,we have a galant 2.0 litre, year 2000,on dash,in front of steering wheel,is a small picture of a motor, can you please tell me what this is,it came on and we lost all power, motor did not stop,we turned...

this is your check engine or service engine soon light or mil {malfunction indicator lamp} your ecm has detected a fault in the systems it monitors and should have a diagnostic trouble code stored you will need to hook to a scanner /code reader and read codes this will tell reason light came on and loss of power if you have a auto zone nearby they provide this service free of charge

Overheating problem At the first moment was when the car was in park.. now is everytime

i had the same problem with my cavailer. with my cavalier my heads and cylinders were warped. if your heads are warped its an easy fix but if the cylinders are then you need to replace the motor. It could also be that your coolant level is really low, your thermostat needs to be replaced, or your radiator is bad.

if the radiator is bad then when your car is warmed up only parts of the radiator will be hot while other parts will be cool.

the only way i know to check the thermostat is to take it out of the car and stick it into boiling water to see if it opens up. ( it has a valve that opens when hot water hits it) if it either doesnt open at all or it opens very slowly then it needs to be replaced.

the heads and cylinders can only be checked by a mechanic. unless you know what your doing and can take it apart yourself.

My 2000 mitsubishi galant es went dead, motor will turn over but

do you have spark? How do you know if your timing belt is good? sometimes it doesnt break just shed the teeth which could be missing under the crankshaft. The best way to check is to have two people. have one try to start the car and see if the camshaft is actually spinning. The crankshaft will always turn but if the teeth are gone on timing belt this would cause the belt to stay in one position not moving the camshaft. so if you can remove the upper timing belt cover and do this quick inspection with someone that will tell you for sure. if it does look like it is spinning then by hand turn engine very slowly with plug coil wires removed. and make sure teeth are all there. It couldve jumped timing. (valve timing)
