Question about 2005 Kia Sorento
Sounds like to me you have something getting hot and shutting off more than likely a relay
also could be a lose ground wire.
that where i would start
but being as this is a electrical problem it really hard to say with out looking at it
also it real hard to find the problem if it not malfunctioning at the time you are working on it
what i would do is try and replace the relay
if that don't fix the problem you might need to take it to a repair shop that specializes in auto electronics they should have special equipment to hunt down and fix the problem

Depending on which one check the voltage to the bulb if ok replace socket. Could be shorting out
