Call the dealer for codes??? Oh please.

Disconnect the battery and reconnect it. Press the key fob and this should reset the security system.

Note: This is for a Gen I - Gen II and later is different.

Keeps draining battery on 1994 chevy suburban

In most cars & truck with this problem, the most common reason is a defective alternator.
In the meantime, unhook that battery each time you stop the truck to prevent dead batteries.

1994 Dodge Viper will not start after storage and battery drain.

With the battery charger connected or a jumper battery simply click the alarm key fob on and then off. This will reset the alarm and the car should start...had mine towed to find this out

Flashing running lights

it sounds like you have a security system that has had the sound disconnected. now if this is the case you need to find out if it is a factory or aftermarket. usually if it is a aftermarket system the box for it should be on the driver side under the dash. now don't go just cutting wires these systems tap into some of the major wire harness. get info off the box and contact the manufacturer for a wire schematic. this will allow you to cut and splice the correct wires. good luck
