Question about 2005 Ford Freestar
You have to purchase a tool to remove it. they are "U" shaped They are inexpensive. there are two of them, they go into the two holes on each side of the radio. push them until you hear a click, then usually you can pull the radio out with them. sometimes they need help, use a screwdriver and gently pry it out.
