Very easy first you go buy one then look under the glove box near the blower motor you will find it usually two or three screws holding it, and a large plug connects to it. very simple to do.because you have it in hand it makes it easier to compare to what you see under there.good luck

The fan will not come on to blow the heat or anything on my 1997 jeep grand cherokee. PLEASE HELP

Go under the dash on the passengers side. The blower motor and blower motor resistor are located under there. With the switch on just tap the blower slightly and if it goes on then replace the blower motor. If not then follow the wires that go to the resistor and check the resistor. They like to heat up and melt the connectors. So you might have to replace the resistor and the connectors which you can get from the dealership parts department.Make sure you have checked the fuses first.let me know if you have any questions.Good luck.

My blower motor now only runs in the "high" postion. I suspect this is just the switch since the blower does run. 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee (198,000)
