Question about 1993 Lincoln Town Car
Double check your cruise control and see if works or not. If it does not work than the "clock spring" is broken internally and needs to be replaced. This item is behind the steering wheel and is nothing more than a ribbon of wire encased in a plastic box and there is no repair that is safe. Also triggers the air bag in the steering wheel. this replacement must be done with the battery negative cable disconnected or serious injury or a broken neck can occur. Let me know if you need instructionson how to replace the item. If the cruise does work, the horn needs to be "bench tested" meaning the horn is removed and voltage is applied to the contacts to check the operation. If no noise, replace the horn. Likely diagnosis without the car in front of me is the clock spring. Let me know.
