I have a 2000 ford explorer xls 4.0 6 cyl. The front end suspension has never been serviced what parts should I replace?

Only the parts that are worn out or broken.

Front ends can be a little tricky to check out properly. If you're up for the challenge let me know and I can give you more specific instruction. There's no sense in going through the trouble and cost of replacing part that don't need to be replaced.

How many miles are on it?

What is cost to get air suspension repair

I had the air suspension on my ford fail several years ago and the price to fix was way too expensive, The air suspension relies on a small air compressor under one of the front guards which seizes up after the lubricatant dries up and it cost back then about $400 to fix.
I was told to replace the rear shock absorbers with just the standard air shock that you pump up at the garage which I did and never had any more trouble with my suspension
check it out, its a lot cheaper

2000 jeep gc laredo 4x4 4.7 auto The front end shakes

if it shakes over 50 miles per hour, it could be your front tires need balancing. and check your ball joints while you are at it. or king pins if it has that. (they are different from ball joints but serve the same purpose.)

Riding high on 20s

Im assuming you went to wider tyres also.Your steering is now under added stress due to extra force required to move the added rubber to road surface area, mainly from standstill and not so bad at driving speed.Either auto and manual but your speedo may no longer be accurate.Added stress to transmission.Slow take offs and added fuel consumption unless on hiway speeds.Added stress on suspension components.Basicly,it wont happen over night but you are shortening the life expectantcy of your vehicles components
