It turns over and I took out the needle valve on the fuel rale and turned it over until all the bad gas was out , so I'm getting fuel but no spark so I pulled off the direct ignition cassette and put new sparkplugs in it and I even put a plug in the cassette to check for spark and nothing happened

I am not sure about the codes but that is secondary right now.I can't see what the other person suggested but one thing is certain.Since it has been sitting around for a year and only started periodically, due to ethanol useage now the gas is junk.Big surprise that none of the makers or gas companies tell us that though huh?Guess they have stocks in parts companies. If you call any shop andtell them about your listing, they will say the same thing about the gas.1 question though.Won't start do you mean doesn't turn over or turns over but won't start? If it turns over weak, whir whir click whir whir, nice sound description huh,the battery needs charge or replacement.Between sitting around and trying to start it repeatedly,it could be dead.Let me know about the not start(which one),and we can go from there.Comment here and I will get an autolink and reply ASAP.Good luck,Greg

With new plugs, about all that's left is the ignition coil or the PCM.I would think if it were a fuse,it would affect more than just the spark though. If you have the owner manual,a double check of what exactly is controlled by what fuse would be the first check I would do to eliminate that possibility.

01 AC control module - internal fault
21 AC recirculation motor - short to earth, open circuit
22 faulty ACC software - a reflash with Tech2 is required.
The software issue is more than likely what is causing the car to not start.

First things first... go to your local autoparts store and have it scanned for trouble codes. Any vehicle sitting for that length of time while have fuel which has soured you might say. This can cause a misfire or other running conditions. The leak from the radiator does need to be addressed to avoid an overheat. The fuel pump may have died due to contaminated fuel and lack of use. How handy are you?

The orange check engine light came on the other day..it's a 2002 Chevy Cavalier and it was sitting for about 1 year and a half. I just had it serviced and then this happened. What does it mean?

Have the codes read. Sitting so long could be corrosion at plugs. Which one to check is the problem. Codes will lead you to the right area.

I have 4 oxygen sensors 1 is bad code po431 bank 2 is the upper or lower sensor

DESCRIPTION The Oxygen Sensors (O2S) are attached to, and protrude into the vehicle exhaust system. Depending on the engine or emission package, the vehicle may use a total of either 2 or 4 sensors.

On this emissions package, 4 sensors are used: 2 upstream (referred to as 1/1 and 2/1) and 2 downstream (referred to as 1/2 and 2/2). With this emission package, the right upstream sensor (2/1) is located in the right exhaust downpipe just before the mini-catalytic convertor. The left upstream sensor (1/1) is located in the left exhaust downpipe just before the mini-catalytic convertor. The right downstream sensor (2/2) is located in the right exhaust downpipe just after the mini-catalytic convertor, and before the main catalytic convertor. The left downstream sensor (1/2) is located in the left exhaust downpipe just after the mini-catalytic convertor, and before the main catalytic convertor.

How do i know wich 02 s not working

A DTC (diagnostic trouble code) will display a trouble code number that will tell you if it is the left or right bank; 1st or 2nd O2. The left or right side is distinguishable while sitting in the vehicle, not looking at the vehicle from under the hood.
