1999 chrysler cirrus misfires occasionally at idle and at speed when driving at 50-70 mph. I have replaced the spark plugs and plug wires, fuel filter, and the condition has improved. OBD 2 shows nothing.

My 1990 s10 vibrates when in park and giving gas .. And also. When driving but stoped on idle or letting go on the gas pedal it doesn't vibrate .. I have replaced flywheel and torque converter and still...

Sounds like a bad spark plug, spark plug wire. Probably the spark plug wire. They usually act that way when load is applied. It may misfire under light load and not at idle. Try plugs and wires.

No spark in the spark plug??

Just one plug? Check the plug and the wire to it. Replace and see if that works. Have the wires or plugs been replaced on the other cylinders in the past 12,000 miles? Go it now before it gets to minus zero outside.
Good luck.

Why does my 1998 sebring idle fine but sputter badly under load.

Does it use spark plug wires or individual ignition coils for the each plug?. My 98 intrepid uses coils and occasionally I have to change them out cause it would start to miss when normal temperature was achieved. If it uses wires, try replacing them, along with the spark plugs.

1999 chrysler cirrus lxi car wont start replaced distributor and put new plugs and wires and got spark and fuel pressure. Is that my timing belt?

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.

To confirm the problem, the basic troubleshooting is required.

What makes a van 3.3.liter skip when it warm but not when its cold do you think it may be the coil

The most common causes of a skip or misfire is a bad plug wire[s] or spark plug[s]. Here's what I look for whenever I do an initial test drive to verify a misfire, stumble, or skip complaint. Once the motor is warmed up I get up to about 48 mph. At that speed the transmission is in 4th gear and the torque converter clutch is locked up giving the engine a solid connection to the drivetrain so any little skip can be felt [you usually can't feel a misfire unless the Torque Converter is locked up due to the fluid drive dampening the sudden but brief change in crankshaft speed during the misfire] Once I'm at 48mph I ease into the throttle just as much as I can without the transmission downshifting. This combination gives you the leanest fuel condition, the highest spark load on the ignition system, and a solid engine to drivetrain connection which makes catching a misfire quite easy. With a little practice at this they'll stick out like a sore thumb. I RARELY have to replace a coil on a 3.3L but often have to replace plug wires and plugs. Look for black soot like coating in the far end of the plug wire boots, rusty or corroded coil towers [where the plug wires attach to the coils] or worn spark plugs. 9 out of 10 times that's where I find the problem. If you're handy with an ohm meter you can test the plug wires and should find about 1,000 ohms per inch of wire. The reason most misfires aren't felt on a cold engine is due to how rich the fuel system has to be to keep a cold engine going and its far easier to fire a cool/rich fuel mixture than a hot/lean mixture. You usually can't feel them during fast/hard acceleration for the same reason and the torque converter clutch is usually disengaged during both of these types of operation.

When first started it runs find. After it starts

First you should try to get the #5 misfire taken care of , and clear the check engine light. It most likely is a bad spark plug or wire, but I would replace all plugs and wires with new. Clear the code and if it comes back, continue your troubleshooting.

Hello Experts, 1999 Chrysler Sebring LXi v6 2.5L. Car had a hard time starting. It would turn over but not start. When it did start, it would run and idle fine for about 4 minutes and then die. I've...

to reset the computer simply unplug the battery for about 30 minutes.

However, you have a different problem I believe. you need to check your plugs and wires/coil packs. A fouled spark plug will cause rough running at any speed.
