Question about 2007 GMC Yukon
Mostly it will depend on your skills to determine how difficult it is.
To an experienced mechanic it's pretty easy, for a novice it could prove difficult.
I suspect because you are asking you may be somewhere in between.
Getting a proper service manual for your vehicle is a great first step towards this repair and any future ones you may encounter. All Data or Mitchell on line give very good and detailed step by step repairs. Much better than the cheapo ones in the local auto supply.
Tools, proper and good ones, also make jobs like this go much easier.
Is your Yukon the 1500 or the 2500 series? It makes a difference because of larger braking systems on the 2500 series.
Let me know.
Thank you for using FixYa.
