Check a major salvage yard, if they don't have it they can check around on their computer and possibly locate one for you.

I have fire to distributor but not to plugs or fuel pump

I owned a 75 Chevy wagon with HEI ignition and liked to never found the problem. It seems under the center contact on the distributor rotor would get a hole burnt in it, and then all sparks go straight to ground.

I' m not mechanic, but rather thinker. If cylinder #1 is the only variable here, them it might be the join of the cylinder/ piston that is defective or has more play! Hope you can find prompt solution! Cheers. Robert Calgary, AB

How to put in a pip sensor in a distributor?

I'm assuming you have the V6 engine since the V8 does not have a distributor. And I am assuming you mean the pickup/stator in the distributor.
Normally you remove the gear and pull the shaft out of the housing.

Fails to turnover because. My neighbor. Took it apart. And forgot how. To put it back. Together he really. Needs a step by step. Guide on how to if anyone could. Point me in the right direction

First off, check your spark plug order. The distributor rotation is clockwise or counter clockwise depending on your engine size. 4cyl 2.3L, 6cyl In-line 3.3L, and V6 3.3L engines have distributors which rotate clockwise. 3.8L V6 and 8 cylinder engines have distributors which rotate counter clockwise. A 5.0 will start with the wires backwards but you will have no power if you try to drive it.
