i think this is part of the linear switch fitted on the J gate unit. what is the actual problem ? is it stuck in park? if so the brake lamp switch may be faulty
You have to reconfigure your fob via your valet button, this will enable the bootlock to recognise the singnal from dash button. I know your battery is dead, start it with a booster or jump leads, take for a good run and then when you think your battery has enough juice try to reconfigure. hope this helps, Jonjo.
Brake switch is broken or wire is loose check the wires on the brske pedal to see if they have come loose, if they have crip them slightly and slide them back on the sade terminals.
Jack up one rear wheel, park brake off, to release the pressure on the drivetrain. This will release the gear shifter. Take care to chock the other wheels before releasing the park brake.
