If you have an Autozone close by, run your Voyager over threr and have them hook up the code reader so you can see what the error code is that is causing the check engine light to come on.
This will give you a clue to whats causing the problem. Hopefully it's just a sensor and not a catalitic converter problem.

Good Luck

What is model year? How long since a tune-up? I always check for applicable codes, even if lite isn't on, have had inactive codes point me in the right direction.
Is this a high mileage vehicle?
The basics for any vehicle that tries to bog down, is to check for a blockage of some kind, fuel--air--exhaust.
There are many possible issues?
I'm not including the tranny?

05 trailblazer chugs at 48 mph

Hi, what do you mean by chugs at 48 mph ? Doesn't it go any faster then 48 mph, does it lose power, bog down when you press the gas pedal to the floor. Does it have a misfire , that makes the vehicle buck and jerk ! Is the check engine light on or any other lights for that matter ? How many miles are on this trailblazer ?

VO Polo 1.9 TDi jerking intermittently. Switched the car on this morning and the engine light is on as well as the car jerking all the time. Please help!!!

check the motor mounts. also check to make sure that its not miss firing. if its miss firing could be as simple as just needing a tune up. if engine light is on it is most likely misfiring and needs a tune up. if its jerking when you put it in gear this is a problem with the transmission. if its an automatic you may need to change the transmission fluid filter and gasket. if you can do this yourself it will run you about 40 bucks

WHERE IS THE FUEL FILTER ,THE CAR FEELS LIKE IT IS RUNNING ON TWO CYLINDERS.

The filters by the fuel tank, near the rear tire.....My 89 olds was missing badly too.....Out on the road the check engine would come on, and she would bog down and buck....Shop replaced KNOCK sensor, it's a timing issue....She runs fine now, check engine light stays off too.
