I have a 1994 toyota four runner. The gas pedal goes all the way down and it does'nt pick up any power. After raising the hood I noticed that one of the wires to the purge to tank part was not connected. Could this be the problem, if so, where does the wire connect. I could not find where.

If you can't locate where the hose connects then turn the vehicle on and with the hood opened spray some carb cleaner around the area where the hose should connect and look for the mist of the carb cleaner spray to **** in like a vacuum. This will help you find the air leak and guide you to where the hose will need to reconnect.

Were is radio fuse on toyota four runner 1994

Here is a diagram for a 1994 pickup. The 4 runner uses the same fuse box, with additional circuits for other options. Fuse 7 would be the same. If you have access to an owners manual, you can reference the fuse box there. Located in the engine compartment.

1994 toyota four runner not going into overdrive until it is warmed up

This may not be a problem. First you did not tell us if this is a manual or automatic. But neither are supposed to go into overdrive until the engine is warmed up and you don't have to press much on the gas pedal. You should check fluid levels also, and perhaps change fluids. If it is a manual, the overdrive may have a separate fluid compartment and level. Overdrive should not engage under 50 mph either. Tell us more details.

2005 four runner will not go into gear unless brakes are pushed down very hard

Hi:
If your four runner is an automatic, there is a brake switch that is most likely the cause of your problem. it is mounted on the upper part of the brake pedal arm, and is held in place with a pin and clip, and has an electrical connector too! Have it checked out!

Where is the fuse for the dash lights on a 1994 toyota pick-up?

The fuse box is located in the driver's side kick panel, which is down near the pedals on the side. The fuse for the guages, which should also do dash lights is the center of the 9 fuses located in that panel. It is a 10amp fuse. If this doesn't fix your problem there is a fuse and relay box under the hood that may contain your blown fuse.

Theres no tension behind the gas petal when i press it

The pedal is connected to a wire cable which runs to a valve or flap of some type at the intake end of the fuel injector under the hood. Either the cable has broken, or the spring which keeps the fuel injector opening closed down to idle position has broken or the cable has come off at one end or the other. Raise the hood and have a companion move the pedal up and down while you find the accelerator cable housing, most likely will be black. If the stiff wire cable inside the housing is moving with your friend's movement of the pedal then you should look to the end of the cable. You will see a small grooved wheel and the cable lies in that groove, and its movement turns the wheel which moves the flap inside. If the cable is not moving then your accelerator cable has broken or come loose at the pedal end.
