My honda accord has what may be a starter problem, electrical problem, or something wrong int the distributer cap area, i start the car and the engine turns over when i turn the key but doesn't stay on after that. also that last time i was driving it, while rolling a 50-60 km/hr the whole thing just shut down, the lights, dash, and engine all cut out, i kept rolling and a few blocks later it just kicked back in. any ideas on what the problem is or how i could repair it???

I have a 1991 LX sedan, it had the same problem that you have described. I when to the junk yard and get another alternator thinking that it was that the problem. But when I was dismouting the alternator I found that one of the two cables was rusty. And that was the problem. Check the cables for the alternator due to the fact if there is not electricity coming out of it your car will shut off. Hope it helps.!

Starter is not seated properly and is cocked sideways. Remove and reinstall, making sure it is fully seated

Hi,

If you mean the Starer Motor wiring then you might want to look at the link provided, otherwise please specify the meaning of Starter. P.S. If you ask Google the right question you will be suprised by how useful it can be in finding what you're looking for.

Good Luck.

You have an internal transmission failure, have a transmission repair shop look at this and be prepared to have it removed for repair and rebuilding.
