Question about 1994 Dodge Dakota Club Cab

I have a 94 dodge dakota extended cab that when idle there is a squeal. may be coming from the fan or the belt. Any ideas as to what it could be?

Could be your idler tentioner pully mine does it all the time i am going to get a new one tomarow they are around 25 bucks

How do i get to the iat sensor on a 2003 Dodge dakota 4.7L V8


The 2-wire Intake Manifold Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is installed in the intake manifold with the sensor element extending into the air stream. It sits on the left side of the engine above the Idle Air Control motor. Hope this helps.

On the passenger side, near the top of the engine compartment firewall, is a rectangular plate with wires plugged into it. This is the blower motor speed control. It is a fairly common failure/problem. Pull the electrical plug off, undo the two screws, pull it out of the firewall and get a new one at your nearest autoparts store (about $20).

no you have to remove fan and fan clutch as well as the belts

I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab 3.9L V-6 w/ cooling problems


Check coolant, adjust drive belt, check radior core and radiator grill clean, remove and chweck thermostat, check cooling fan, check ignition timing, water ppump may be going out, improper grade engine oil.
