Question about 2005 Ford F 250 Super Duty
These component's are controlled by a module known as the BCM (Body Control Module) or GEM (Generic electronic Module), this module can be self tested with a special scan tool called an "NGS" by a Ford dealer for proper function, it does an active test of all functions controlled by the module, once the test completes it returns fault codes for whatever problems it encountered during the test, in order to save allot of money I suggest you have the test run by the dealer, otherwise you and I are just guessing, guessing is very expensive on this truck.
My experience is 30 years as a Ford dealer master technician in Ford electronic control systems.
