Check your Number ine plug that could be it. if there is a problem with that it could be the coil the number one plug can prevent the car from getting any spark same with the coil. i have a 91 laser as well if you know where i can get some parts e-mail me @ blaine_hubbard@hotmail.com

I replaced the rotor an distrubtor cap changed an the guy took the hole distrubtor out and now it want start

If the plugs are getting spark, you just need to reset the timing. Line up the marks on the crank pulley and put the rotor at the number one plug wire. It will either be correct or 180 degrees off.
Once the engine is running you will need to use a timing light to set the timing to spec.

Pu t in new coil and distrubtor cap and rotor put in new electronic module not firing wont start

No spark at the spark plug? It may be the pick-up coil inside the distributor. This is the sensor that tells the computer the engine's crank position.
If the ignition switch is good, you should have power at the coil's + terminal when key is on. You might check for that.

Won't run, got fuel, got spark from coil to distributer but will not fire. Tried new plugs, fuel filter and dust. cap. No go.

You may want to change your rotor bug in distrubtor,If this don't work you may have bent or wornout shaft goig down from distrubutor inside motor. But if your getting fire to the coil but not the distrubtor i think the rotor bug will fix it. Good luck to you.

Spark plug removal and installation

This isn't fun. First make sure the engine is cool [ could strip the threads in the head if hot ], then you will need to remove the 7 milimeter headed screw that holds the coil-s in, remove the electrial connector, then carefuly twist the coil to loosen the boot from the spark plug and lift up, if you have air availble , [ it would be good to blow the holes out - other wise dirt and junk may drop into the cylinder], use a long flex joint plug scocket to remove the spark plug. At this point I recommend you replace the boots on the coils, they degrade like igntion wires on a distrubtor type system. Gap the new plugs, install to the proper torque = 13 foot pounds. This is very important as if they are over tightened they could strip, or too loose, they could begain moving and blow out of the head, This is real commom with these motors, [ aftermarket companies make a self tapping spark plug for this ]. reinstall the coils.

I get spark to the distributor but just a little spARK TO plugs.

Use a little sand paper and clean the brass tongs inside the distrubtor, Might check your pick-up coil while you have distrubtor cap off. If cap is very bad just replace, Good luck this should fix your problem.

I took my van in for a basic turnup and oil change that was $264.

If you remove the engine cover from inside the vehicle you will gain access to the spark plug wires and spark plugs. The spark plug wires come out of the distrubtor cap thats at the rear of the motor, the spark plug wires run to the left side of the motor and to the right side an end up attached to the spark plugs. Reolace spark plug wires one at a time so you dont mix them up, this is fairly easy the only difficult part is getting your hands in the small space in the engine compartment. Hope this was helpful.
