Question about 1997 Ford Explorer AWD
I recommend that you check your brakes 1st try to determine whether the grind you hear is from front or rear or maybe under the center of your vehicle. you may have a bad universal joint also, does it pop or crack at all when you shift out of park on a hill? or when you turn ono way or another on a hill? if none of these i suggest you consult your mechanic for further evaluation. hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com
