Bright lights switch won't stay on bright on my


Are you pulling up on the switch and the bright lights just flash and if so you need to push the arm toward the dash and it will stay on.

The engine cooling fan is controlled by a thermostatic switch. From your description, I believe you are assuming the fan comes on immediately when the engine starts. Not so. It only comes on when a certain temperature is reached

Yes...all you need to do is loosen the screws that hold it on and slide it. If you can't get it to adjust, it may be worn out though. Always check after moving the switch to make sure that it still will not start in gear and that the reverse lights are still working.

I have a 2002 Monte Carlo SS. Problem with headlights


The problem could be a few different thing's . Test the circuit with voltage drop would be the way to find the problem . Loaded circuit ,power on. Do you know how to use a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter ? Do you know what a wiring diagram is an how to use one to pin point testing spots in a wiring circuit. . Most likely a bad starter.
Less likely a wiring problem.

The fuel filter is located in the pressure line that runs from the fuel tank to the engine, near to the fuel tank.
Keep the engine off for few hours before replacing the filter, to get rid of some pressure in the lines.
