Check to see which way distributor rotor turns, clockwise?, or counter clockwise
bring #1 cylinder up to trop dead center on firing stroke, remove cap as you would need to to check direction rotation for rotor,you should find the rotor pointing at #1(or right below it), then just follow firing order in correct rotation around the cap
