This is simple replace fuse if burned out. Check your fuse panel. If that is ok then check to see if you have a burned out tail light bulb

70 chevelle front turn signal does not work but parking light does, rear signal works. If you switch wires at socket, parking light lworks using either wire but turn signal does not work

Hi, either the turn signal switch is bad or the wire has broken. First trace the wire back toward the switch to see if you can find a break. If you have a test light, ground the clip to a bare spot under the dash and shove the probe into the back of the turn connector (blue wire) at the base of the steering column. This connector is attached to the side of the column just above your feet. Turn the key and signal on to see if the light will blink. If it does, you know the wire is broken between that connector and the bulb. If it doesn't blink, replace the switch. Please let me know if you have questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

Jaguar xj6 break light cancels signal

Replace the turn signal switch. Bad contact inside causing a crossing of the circuits. When the turn signal is applied it should open the brake light circuit allowing for just the signal to work. Doesn't sound like the switch is doing it's job.

the turn signals use the same bulb as the break lights. the side you are wanting to blink to indicate your turn direction will not have a break light, but the turn signal working.
