83 98olds headlights not working but taillights do

Your headlight switch has a lot of terminals for each of the different lights it controls.
One of those terminals is for the headlights, and a separate one for the dash lights and tail lights.
That is because the headlights take more electricity, they need a separated circuit.
You could have a bad headlight light switch, a loose plug that goes from the inside of the dashboard through the firewall into the engine compartment, or perhaps a bad fuse or circuit breaker in the black plastic box under the hood of the car for the headlights.
You might also have a broken wire due to a previous car wreck's damage.
You could have a defective./rusty/corroded ground wire, too.
Someone will need to chase all these possibilities out.
God bless your efforts.

Headlights won't come on. Getting 12v at both the left and right fuse box slots under the dash. Continuity good on both fuses

check switch connections under the dash
disconnect that connection and check for continuity of circuits through the head light switch operations
if the tail /park lights come on but not the head lights , check the head light circuit for relays
it is a ford product , check the operation of the light control module,

I do not have power to electric brake booster on 1991 t bird SC is there a fuse somewhere

Usually under the dash board or under the hood will be a black plastic box. Lift the lid and there will be a diagram inside showing what fuse or relay goes to what circuit. Good luck. Jeff M.

Dash lights fade in and out on my 2006 gmc they come back with a wack on the dash

This happened for a long time with me. Dealer wanted 155.00 to change headlight switch. I thought that was what was wrong as I would push in and out on the switch and/or dimmer and all the dash lights would flicker. Stopped up my brothers. He took the headlight switch out and sprayed it with electrical contact cleaner. Working fine now. Not a hard job either.
Take off outer dash trim piece, pull off light switch knob, pry out circuit board, unplug connection. Take to your work area, take out screws and very carefully open the control box. There is a spring and a little round piece that will fall out and you need to watch for this so as to know how to replace it. Now clean the control board with the electrical contact cleaner and put back together. Richard

Locating the daytime running light module for 90 accord

Its a light grey square box. U will either find it under the dash around the steering column or on the driver side up the inside fender area. Take it out and resolder all the hairline cracks and it will be good as new.

Dashboard wont light up

The circuit which supplies power to the dash illuminations is the same relay which supplies power to the parking lights (tail lamp relay). It's inside the I/P (instrument panel/pass compartment) junction box. Check fuse 24 (10 amp - red - far left column, second from the bottom).

Headlamp motor relay location.

Had the same problem on mine. It's easy to resolve. in the center top of the dash board, juste under a plastic panel, you will see a plastic box whit a big plug you problem is inside. This box is seal by a cahoutchouc resin, its better to open the box when te temperate is very hot, the resin is more easyer to put out. Open te box delicaly and be careful of the electric plate. When you have clean resin of the electric plate check all weld, you will find one or more who are not very well. you juste have to rebuild the bad weld. you problem is now repair. if you have any question you can write me on excuse my english but I'm a french man
