This may be caused by a bad fuelpump and spraying starts because it gets power for a while and the fuel flows until pump kicks in, have the computer scanned for any stored codes to see if the computer picked up a problem if not then have a fuel preasure gauge put on the fuel rail and see if the pump has any pressure when you try to start it, if it has pressure then it may be the injectors, but if there no pressure then i would say its the pump.

Oil pressure sign and engine stopped? oil was enough but now car cant start even though the engine turns very well

Spray a little starter fluid in the intake. If the engine wants to start then you have an ignition problem. If not you have a fuel pump problem.

Chances are its an ignition problem if nothing happened by using starting fluid. Have you pulled the plug wires and checked for spark ?

I have a 1999 gmc Yukon it is getting fuel and spark i even sprayed starter fluid in the intake but it still wont start it turns over good but wont start

ok make sure you have good fuel pressure
you must have good spark must fire a spark tester
if all that is good then check compression
and don't use STARTER FLUID on a GAS ENGINE it can blow a hole through the piston
hope this helps

Change plugs check wires for correct connection. Check pcv for vacuumn leaks. Starter fluid on mass air flow meter may damage it.

My truck turns over, but wont start unless I spray starter fulid. What could be the problem?

Could be blocked fuel filter or fuel pum, does it keep running once you stop spraying the starter fluid, Try also cleaning out the throttle that could be restricting the mix.

My 1997 Chevy Lumina won't start, it sounds like it wants to but it wont turn over, has gas, tried the carb spray, still won't start. Help!!!

did you use carb cleaner or starter fluid. if you try starter fluid and it starts for a second and then dies you might have a fuel pressure issue. if not check for spark.
