Hey if you changed all of that, i think the problem is the waterpump, my car had that problem and finally i found that that was leaking from the waterpump, but very carefull if you change it because if you move the timing belt the wont start. a mechanic charges around $225.00 to fix the water pump, the water pump is around 42.00 to 50.00 don't pay more than that.

I have a 2001 chevy blazer during winter season i had no gas cap, now with warm weather the gas is not flowing into the tank, it spits it back out at times and floods the outer rim. receives only a fe

If you're saying you may have ice stuck in the hose that goes into your gas tank, yes Heet is fine. Heet is just fuel additive that gets rid of water and keep gas from freezing in the lines. If ice is out of the question, I'd have your tank dropped, might have something that died in there ie. mouse that made a home in there?

Its -12 ,whent to start my car and it turned over and stalled out imediatley, is my gas line frozen?

Yes, I would highly suspect (frozen) water in the fuel. Dumping a couple of bottles of heet (should be able to get at a gas station or auto parts store) in the fuel tank. This MAY work, but likely you will have to get your car towed to a warm shop. Then have them change the fuel filter. Whenever it gets real cold you could put heet in the tank as a preventative. Heet is the brand make of a alchohol gas deicer. By the way, i'm from Alaska. Were enjoying the warmest winter in years right now.

I have a bad miss in my 1997 z-71 and have changed plugs, wires, and distributor cap, but still didnt fix it, and also put some heet in the gas and still no fix.

check to see if two plug wires are plugged into the wrong areas. That will make the engine miss with a soft popping noise if you have that sort of miss

Heat takes a long time to heat up. is it the thurmastat?

Age/ condition of vehicle ?
It could be the thermostat - could also be the thermostat switch turned down - how is the air flow from the vents with the blowers on full ?

Running hot changed thurmastat had it pressured checked

so your stat is good...your system comes to pressure but you are still overheating? The radiator itself might be bad. You can try a flush and see if overheating subsides.

You could also look and see if the coolant is flowing and the stat is opening up by looking into the radiator when the car is cold and starting it and running it to temperature.

Did you pressure check the cap? Sometimes they break and you don't get adequate system pressure with the cap in place.

Ford thunderbird wont start in Cold weather

change distributor cap first and see how it goes could have a crack in it.Failing which you need to test the ignition module when its cold as sometimes a component will break down and not work when its cold ,this is very much a hands on type job so if dist cap doesnt cure it call a mobile mechanic
