Question about 1993 Dodge Ram 250

My heater/AC blower is not operating. The fuse is good, but the blower stopped working yesterday, without any prior indications of trouble. Is there a wiring diagram available that would help me troubleshoot the problem?

This is common, the problem is the blower resistor, this is what controls the speeds of the blower, this is located next to the blowermotor, if you grab the wires at the blower and follow them they will lead you to the resistor, its screwed into heaterbox, but if this a van then its located under the hood on the rear firewall, this picture will help you locate it, it will be the only part like it on the firewall going into heaterbox, heres a picture of it good luck and i hope this is helpful. My heater/AC blower is not operating. The 1994 Dodge Ram 250 Van has known problems concerning the A/C and heater blower. Though it is possible that the blower resistor is bad, a more common problem with this year and model, is the vacume switch, that controls the air flow coming from the blower. a revised switch had been produced and can be purchased at most auto part stores. Many people tend to think that thier blower has gone bad, but this is a common mistake for this make and model. Also, check for vacume leaks, as this too will effect the air flow coming from the blower.

Blows number 17 fuse 10amp the heater, ac atc.

I think the 12V signal for the blower still passes through fuse#12 but the power for the blower is through fuse#34 like you said. The blower control could still be popping fuse#12. If you turn all controls off prior to starting the truck and replace the fuse, can you individually turn on components like the blower, heated seats, etc... one at a time? If so can the blower be run with the AC compressor on or off? You may be able to partition the problem a bit further. -Good Luck,

My 2002 Dodge dakota King cab 4.7 litre V8 ac/heater fan quit on me yesterday. I get an ac light when the ac button is selected and a little residual air flow when in motion but the blower motor rotary...

Look for a plastic black plate of rectangular shape. Thics could be under the hood on the pass. side firewall or under the dash on the pass. side. It will be attached to the ac/Heater box with to 5/16 hex head screws. The plate will have four push terminals connected to it by a singular connector plug. This is your blower resistor and controls the # 2 3 4 speeds from the switch. They go without notice. take it out and look for signs of burnt or melted coils.

Which fuse operates the ac & heater blower on a 2001 ford Taurus. Box is under the hood with many empty socket and no diagram.

There is a fuse box inside the car to the left of the steering column. fuse 228 10 amp and fuse 208 40 amp. Check power to the blower motor connector. Check for water in blower. I have seen water get into blower motor and short out. Good luck I hope this helps.

Fan quit on 87 celebrity, heat ac, etc.. fuse ok ????

Check for bad connection at heater resistor or try tapping heater motor lightly
with ignition switch on and heater switch on. Could be heater switch connection.
