    same with my 2007 Jetta , right rear caliper piston went in freely and the left rear wouldn't go in although I was using the right tool.

    I believe the left rear cylinder was defective.

Right rear wheel will not turn 2004 xl7 susuki

This car ABS, if yes, try posting that, as i will answer for NO.
NO = short and easy. ABS = hard. (read the FSM , and see)
find a real shop with the ASE sigh,
never go there again. your dealer, he is bad for your health and others.
yes, my same bearing failed on my 04 but i found it with an electronic stethoscope (sonic ear) in 5min and did it early before brake damage.
locking brakes are very very bad , you need to find this fast.
he sounds incompetent.
if the Right rear is locked, the mech, loosens the bleed fitting
if it unlocks the MC is failing,(non ABS). mine is non ABS too.
if a new mc is installed and the rear piston clearance is not set
the MC will LOCK THE WHOLE SYSTEM up. or 1 end.
if the brake didnt release above, that means (gee simple) the brake neat
is locked. (bad bearing or wet soaked brakes or the parts assembled
ALL WRONG here.
puddle on floor, is it DOT3/4 fluid or GL4 gear lube.
surly you can tell the diffr, between them.> no?
if fuild that is wheel cylinder failure.
did you use non DOT/3/4 fluid, you must not use dot 5 or the seals will fail FAST,.....
using jiffyboobs? dont/

I have a 95 mercury sable and a little while back our abs light came on well the finances werent there at the time to have it checked so now i had to change the complete brake system on the drivers rear....

If you completely overhauled the brake system with new brake lines and pads, then the problem would be that air was not completely removed from the brake system. will have to bleed the brake system to remove the air traped in the lines and behind the brake calipers. hope this will help you.

Your master cylinder (rear) check valve has failed;
(the pressure is not being released when the brake pedal is not pressed and, the brakes stay applied)
replace the whole master cylinder.
As for your ABS clean the ring on the wheel that is "seen" by the sensor clean it too; it looks like and, works like a old phonograph speed ring (the sensor reads the flashes as the wheel turns to assertain the vehicle's speed.)

How do i change the rear wheel bearing in 1988 ford ranger

you need to remove the rear axle so you need to open the differential, You should go buy a book so you install the brake system correctly. At home plan on a 5 hour job at least.

99 Jeep GC brake lock.

You say they replaced basicly everything that involes the rear brakes.
Every step they took to find the problem could lead to the solution,BUT did they check the inboard brakes. The brake system on a jeep that has rear rotors have inboard shoes for the parking brake.
You could have a parking brake cable that is frozen (this will cause a drag on the inboard brakes. Do you use the parking brake? Maybe the parking brake shoes are adjusted too tight?

99 Jeep GC Brake Lock

todays sports utility vehicles are equiped with a proportioning valve. they are usualy located at the rear of the vehicle. this valve regulates the flow of brake fluid to the calipers. most suv`s have a ride control arm on them that is linked to the rear suspension to apply more braking force to the rear wheels in a harsh or sudden stop. if this valve is bad or malfunctioning even body roll can redirect brake fluid to the rear wheels causing them to lock up., hope this info helps
