Check the two tubes entering the firewall that lead to the heater core. If both get hot, then the inside blend door is not actuating correctly. If the heater core tubes are cold, then the heater core is blocked up.

Have the car's cooling system backflushed or replace the heater core in order to fix the problem.

3: the A.C must work it is the DEHUMIDIFIER PART.

How to open frozen lock

are you on the outside the vehicle or inside if its outside heat up your key a few times and stick it in the lock once you can get the guard to open (that's the very out side piece that is behind the keyway shape try to pour rubbing alcohol inside this will free up the cylinder antifreeze or windshield wiper fluid will also do it and keep heating the key if your inside just park the car and keep the heat on for a while to get it very hot in the car this will in turn heat up the inside of the door and will eventually melt the ice inside and free up the mechanism the main cause of this is the car wash when it's cold out the water gets in and freezes the lock and rod that is connected to the handle

My 1989 ford festiva has no heat.

First make sure your coolant level is up. If it isnt you wont get heat. Next replace the thermostat. Hopefully your heater core isnt leaking! Do you smell antifreeze in the interior of the car? If so your heater corre may be leaking. It is located inside the dash behind the glove box and unfortunatley the dash has to come out to access. 8 hour job

2000 buick regal winshield will not defrost i have ice inside and out

If you are getting heat inside the car, the defroster should also work. There is a control switch problem that doesn't switch to defrost from heat, or the compressor for the air conditioner is not provides heat for defrosting as very dry air to the heater box.

1982 cordoba blows cold air ,no heat inside, the slide bar for hot and cold seems to have broken inside the dash ,how can i get heat in car ,the car has never been winter driven, seems some kind of door...

the valve that control the heat is run by a cable from your heater assembly is located out under the hood, follow the two heater hoses to the fire wall, you will see one hose has a valve in it,one position lets water flow, the other doesn't.
