Best bet since its an older car is to cut fuel line to find two clean contact points and use compression fittings on clean sides and put new line in its place fast will work if done correctly and no need to remove tons of stuff

I have a 2001 Chevy Blazer and it is slow to take gas from the gas station. I was told to check the vent hose, but can not locate it. It does not run with the intake line nor does it Y off the intake line,...

the vent hose you are looking for is located off of the gas tank it should be beside your filler hose. if you don't see one there then you tank has a vent on top that is the problen and probably needs replaced

1997 Chevy Blazer - I believe I have a brake line leak right below the passenger door on the driver's side. How difficult is this to get to and replace?

This could be very difficult due to access and being able replace line from its 2 union points. you will have to purchase stright brake lines and bend to fit then bleed the brake system

1995 blazer should have rotors and brakes how often? We just had to replace the rotors at 125,00 + miles and about 6 months ago we had to replace brake lines, as they had rusted through.

not a bad life then that you have had from these parts ,the rust on pipes ?? should have painted them years ago ,the brake disks ,depends on how you drive ,if like an old grandad like myself --forever --if like a boy racer then maybe two years or as little as 20,000 miles

350t chevy tranny hisses when I let of throttle when it's cold. it's in a 1978 chevy blazer with a 350 engine

Check fluid level when hot. If ok the flush cooling lines between tranny and radiator. Also check your modulator they are cheep from napa. Difficult for me to duplicate hissing sound on the computer but check your converter for how hot it is after twenty minutes. Last check the vacume line from manifold to modulator..sometimes a small hole can make that noise and effect shifting...hope this helps:)

Hard to start and smell gas

have 1994 4.3 cpi and the problem I had sounds same.
It was a leaky pressure line in pletium . easy fix $45.00 part $15.00 gasket.
the leak was caused from the fuel lines rubbing together in pletium.
take the vortec cover off ,then remove air regulator in middle and look inside . I turned on power to key and gas spray came from drivers side of pletium looking in hole.fuel line side. if gas spray on passanger side then gas regulator faulty. takes 5 min to check
After fixing truck runs runs great. no more gas smell in cab.
also you can smell oil for gas
