If you are going to preform the mechanics your self please go purchase a CHILTONS repair manual for the make and model of your vehicle and if you do not feel comfortable repairing the vehicle after carefully studying the step by step instructions that Chiltons provides please take your car to a professional mechanic for repair.

I need to find the truck termostat, where is it?

The thermostat is located in the front of the intake manifold under the thermostat housing, and follow the upper radiator hose over to where it connects to the engine on the intake manifold and that will be the thermostsat housing. remove the upper radiator hose from the thermostsat housing and remove the ground wire if there is one attaced to one of the two thermostat housing studs, and then remove the two studs/bolts from the thermostat housing and then remove the thermostat from the intake manifold. Be sure to replace the thermostat correctly and here is an image to help assist you.
