Question about 1999 Chevrolet Venture
Change two switches, some time the driver's side switch caused the problem also!

Gonna have to pull the door panel and check for power and ground right at the motor connector when the switch is operated, don't forget it runs thru the passenger switch too, if it burns out it won't work from either side.

Before you replace anything, inspect the connector pins in both the driver's door switch and the passenger door switch. If you don't find any problem with these connector pins, replace the driver's door control switch.
